Olivia L Daoust has a diverse work experience. Olivia started their career as a Industrial Designer Intern at MEGA Brands in May 2013. After graduating from their internship, they worked as a Designer at Daoust Design from January 2014 to May 2015, where they provided consultation and design services for residential and commercial interior design, as well as office layout and decor. Following this role, Olivia worked as a Quincaillère at Quincaillerie Hogg from July 2010 to May 2015. Olivia then joined Budge Studios, a mobile app development company, in May 2015 as a Quality Assurance Tester. In March 2016, they transitioned to the role of Playtest Coordinator, responsible for testing and coordinating the development of children's mobile games. With their experience in game design, Olivia was promoted to the position of Game Designer in October 2016. Most recently, in February 2022, they were promoted to be the Lead Game Designer at Budge Studios.

Olivia L Daoust received their primary and secondary education at Villa Sainte-Marcelline from 1996 to 2008. Olivia then pursued a DEC (diploma of college studies) in Art, lettres et communications: profil arts visuels at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2008 to 2010. Afterwards, they attended École de Design de l'UQÀM from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their BAC (bachelor's degree) in Design de l'environnement. Lastly, they attended Université de Montréal from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Diplome d'études supérieures spécialisées in Game Design.
