Robert Vela

Robert Vela is an experienced professional with a diverse background in automotive maintenance and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Auctioneer at Whatnot since March 2023, Robert has also been a Lead Technician at Budget Truck Rental since October 2016, responsible for overseeing and assigning work to automotive mechanics. As an Artillery Maintenance Supervisor in the United States Army since April 2015, Robert managed significant equipment value, maintained service schedules, and improved team readiness rates. With previous roles in the Army, including Senior Artillery Mechanic and Recovery Coordinator, Robert demonstrated expertise in vehicle recovery, maintenance operations, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
