Ovais Tariq is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in data management and infrastructure. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO at Tigris Data Inc since December 2021, Ovais also engages as an Angel Investor at Coroot, Ampt, and Budibase, and provides advisory support to Cielara AI. Ovais has a strong background in leading storage infrastructure initiatives, having held key positions at Uber, including Head of Storage Infra, where responsibilities involved building core storage platforms for critical business functions. Previous roles include Infrastructure Engineering Lead at Lithium Technologies and Senior MySQL Consultant at Percona, showcasing expertise in database management and infrastructure optimization. Ovais holds an executive education credential from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Computer Science from Karachi University.
