Matias Romero, CFA

Matias Romero, CFA has an extensive work experience. Matias began their career in 2009 as a Junior Analyst - Investment Strategy at Credicorp Capital. Matias then worked their way up to become a Portfolio Manager at the same company. In 2012, they took on the role of a Teaching Assistant in the Finance Master's Program at Universidad del Pacifico. In 2015, they joined Credicorp as a Senior Associate - Corporate Strategy & M&A and then an Associate - Corporate Strategy & M&A. In 2018, they pursued their MBA at The Wharton School, where they were a Palmer Scholar and ranked in the top 5% of the Class of 2020. Matias also served as an Academic Fellow, providing academic guidance and support to first-year students. In 2019, they became a Summer Associate at Brandes Investment Partners. In 2020, they joined Krealo as an Investments, Strategy and Finance Manager. Currently, they are working at Buenbit as the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Expansion and Country Manager.

Matias Romero, CFA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico (PE) between 2006 and 2011. Matias then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School between 2018 and 2020. In 2014, they were granted the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
