Sofia Zava

Sofia Zava is an experienced architect currently serving as Chief of Staff in the Area of School Maintenance at the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires since May 2017. In this role, Sofia is responsible for defining priorities, coordinating management efforts, overseeing the budget, and supervising purchasing processes. Previously, Sofia worked as a Technical Advisor to the Director of School Maintenance, focusing on budget prioritization for school maintenance and fostering collaboration across various ministry areas. Sofia began her career at A|S Arquitectos as an administrative employee, where responsibilities included administrative tasks and contractor interaction. Sofia holds a Master in Urban Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, complemented by a bilingual education from Colegio Esquiú.
