Nick Snyder has over 13 years of work experience in the tech industry. In 2007, they began their career as an undergraduate researcher at Vanderbilt University. In 2008, they joined AdMob as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the AdMob website and various integration efforts. In 2010, they joined Google as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were the tech lead for the Mobile Rich Media team and designed and implemented a JavaScript framework to render rich media ads. In 2012, they joined Maybe, Inc. as a Software Engineer where they worked on various consumer based mobile apps. In 2013, they joined LinkedIn as a Staff Software Engineer, where they founded a new mobile infrastructure team and built and open-sourced the LayoutKit library. Nick also designed and implemented the iOS and Android native mobile apps. In 2017, they joined Sourcegraph as a Software Engineer, Engineering Advisor, VP of Engineering, and Head of Engineering. In 2021, they joined First Round Fast Track as a Mentor. Currently, they are an Advisor at Weights & Biases and VP Engineering at Buf.

Nick Snyder completed a B.S. in Computer Science Major, Mathematics Major, Economics Minor from Vanderbilt University in 2008, following an M.S. in Computer Science from the same university in 2007. Nick also attended North Central High School.
