Bill Rhodes began their career in 1995 as a Marketing and Sales employee at MasterWorks International. In 2003, they were promoted to General Manager at the same company. In 2006, they joined Buffalo Americas as Director of Channel Sales. In this role, they directed a team overseeing a network of 4,000 authorized reseller partners for the North American operation of a Japanese storage and networking hardware manufacturer. Bill rebuilt the channel team by recruiting and mentoring top talent and implementing a channel sales strategy emphasizing B2B products over consumer products, driving YOY revenue growth over three years, doubling the company’s authorized partner base, and growing average partner revenue contribution. Bill also developed and implemented a new B2B channel strategy including a refreshed reseller program and a focused distribution strategy and channel marketing plan, resulting in multiple top-three finishes in Computer Reseller News’ Annual Report Card survey alongside multi-billion dollar industry competitors. Additionally, they oversaw a shift from a B2C distribution strategy to a B2B model, reducing annual marketing spend and increasing distribution knowledge and awareness of the B2B product portfolio and channel initiatives. Bill was named to CRN Channel Chiefs “50 Most Influential” (2014 and 2015), and ChannelPro SMB All-Star (2012-2016), and received CDW Canada’s B. E. S.
Bill Rhodes graduated from Austin College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Business Administration and Economics.
