Ashlea Espinal is currently the Assistant Curator at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West's Whitney Western Art Museum. Prior to this, Ashlea held various positions such as Curatorial Assistant at the same museum, Mellon Curatorial Intern in Native American Art at Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, and Adjunct Instructor at Bacone College and University of Oklahoma. Ashlea has a Doctor of Philosophy in Native American Art History from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Art and Museum Studies from Georgetown University. Prior to their career in art, Ashlea completed a Bachelor's degree in Art History and French from Hope College.
