Gretchen Henrich

Director Of The Interpretive Education Division at Buffalo Bill Center of the West

Gretchen Henrich has a diverse range of work experience in the field of museum and education. Gretchen began their career as the Curator of Education/Educator at Oglebay's Good Children's Zoo in 1988 and held this role until 1999. In 1999, they joined the Buffalo Bill Historical Center as an Interpretive Specialist, where they remained until 2011. During their time at the Historical Center, they also became the Deputy Director of Content and Programming/Director of Education from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West as the Director of the Interpretive Education Division. Here, they focused on developing standards for exhibit and program interpretation, as well as managing the implementation of the Center's Interpretive Plan.

Gretchen Henrich has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis. Their education history also includes attending the University of Wyoming, but specific information regarding their degree or field of study at that institution is not provided.
