Hunter Old Elk serves as the Assistant Curator at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West since May 2016, overseeing the Plains Indian Museum, which highlights the rich narratives of Plains Indian Peoples and their cultures. Previous roles include Curatorial Assistant and Research Assistant, focusing on the museum's collections and collaborating with tribal members for culturally appropriate practices.
