Michela Morrissey

Michela Morrissey is an experienced museum professional with a strong background in registration and collections management. Currently serving as Assistant Registrar at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West since August 2023, Michela previously held the position of Registrar/Collections Manager at the Homesteader Museum from July 2021 to September 2023. Contributions as a Cultural Programs Educator with AmeriCorps VISTA from July 2020 to July 2021 and as an Associate Consultant at Access Success LLC further enhanced expertise in cultural education and consultancy. Earlier roles with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation included Orientation Interpreter and Bricklayer, demonstrating versatility and a hands-on approach to museum work. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Lawrence University (2014-2018).
