Kyle Shurmur

Kyle Shurmur is currently a defensive quality control coach for the Buffalo Bills. Prior to this, they were an athlete with the Washington Commanders from September 2021 to January 2022, the Cincinnati Bengals from December 2020 to September 2021, and the Kansas City Chiefs from May 2019 to May 2020. Kyle also served as a volunteer assistant football coach at Vanderbilt University from August 2020 to December 2020. Kyle's professional experience also includes internships with Vanderbilt Office of Investments from June 2017 to July 2017 and IMG at Vanderbilt from July 2016 to August 2016.

Kyle Shurmur has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University.

Kyle Shurmur reports to Leslie Frazier, Defensive Coordinator & Assistant Head Coach. They are on a team with Jaylon Finner - Defensive Quality Control Coach, Rob Boras - Tight Ends, and Eric Washington - Senior Defensive Assistant & Defensive Line.
