Deb Winslow-Schaber has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Deb is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Buffalo Urban League since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at FeedMore WNY from July 2022 to March 2023. From October 2020 to July 2022, they held the role of Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Nazareth College. Deb has also gained valuable experience as a Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager at API Heat Transfer from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Catholic Health from 2017 to 2018 and at Eastern Niagara Hospital from 2015 to 2017. With a long tenure at Canisius College from 2005 to 2015, they held the position of Director of Human Resources. Deb began their career as a Human Resources Manager at Aurubis AG from 1999 to 2005 and took on the role of Acting Human Resources Manager from 1998 to 1999.

Deb Winslow-Schaber earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Labor Relations from Niagara University. Deb later pursued further education at The University of Kansas, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including the Workplace Big 5 from Work Ignited in 2011, the Ignatian Colleagues Program from Canisius College in 2009, the Graduate certification from Leadership Niagara - New York in 2002, and the Human Resources Executive Program from Stanford University in 2000.
