John Rineck

John Rineck is a seasoned professional in the field of information security and vulnerability research with diverse experience. Currently serving as a DevSecOps Engineer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since November 2021, John has also contributed as an Independent Vulnerability Researcher with Bugcrowd Inc and HackerOne since March 2016, credited with discovering multiple web application vulnerabilities. Prior roles include Security Architect and Lead Security Analyst at Foot Locker, as well as Information Systems Security Analyst at the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), where responsibilities encompassed compliance oversight and information security management. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science, Risk Management & Insurance from the Wisconsin School of Business and a BA in Quantitative Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
