Thanassis Avgerinos

Thanassis Avgerinos currently serves as the VP of AI Engineering at Bugcrowd and holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Athens. With a rich background in engineering, Thanassis previously worked at Mayhem, where responsibilities included VP of Engineering, Team Lead, Architect, and Founder. Academic contributions include a PhD research assistantship at Carnegie Mellon University, complemented by a research internship at Microsoft. Thanassis holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Diploma in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens.
