Khaya Mxenge

Khaya Mxenge is an Automation Project Engineer at Bühler Group, with a background that includes roles as a Junior Software Engineer and Automation Intern at the same company since January 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Chairperson for Engineers Without Borders UCT from October 2019 to November 2020 and a brief internship as a Software Engineer Intern at Lodox Systems, where an app was developed to process and anonymize DICOM files. Khaya has also contributed as a Tutor at Club Electron, facilitating electronics and coding education for primary school learners. Khaya holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed in 2020, and attained a National Senior Certificate from Roedean School (SA) in 2016. Skills acquired include programming in C++ using Visual Studio, working with the MFC framework for Windows applications, and processing DICOM files.
