Chris Hurt

Chris Hurt has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry. Chris served as the COO at Build-A-Bear Workshop, where they were responsible for the operations and profitability of various areas including field organization, guest service team, real estate portfolio, warehouse and web fulfillment facility, and design and construction team. Chris also participated in board meetings and collaborated with the leadership team for overall strategies. Prior to that, they worked at American Eagle Outfitters in various senior roles, including SVP North America, VP/GM, East Zone Vice President, Senior Director Store Operations, Director of Women's Business Strategies, and Regional Manager. Hurt started their career at Polo Ralph Lauren and held positions such as Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Director of Stores.

From 1984 to 1988, Chris Hurt attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.
