Tim Hart

Tim Hart is an accomplished civil and structural engineer with extensive experience in both leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor - Engineering at Build Change since March 2005, Tim provides expert consulting on structural evaluations for earthquake and typhoon performance in homes and schools, with a focus on Asia programs. Concurrently, Tim holds the position of Lead Civil/Structural Engineer at Berkeley Lab, overseeing structural design and compliance processes. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Forell/Elsesser Engineers, DASSE Design, Biggs Cardosa Associates, and Travis, Verdugo, Curry & Associates, contributing to significant healthcare and educational projects. Tim earned a BS Cum Laude in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1989.
