GreenPoint Rated Program Manager at Build It Green

Alicia Livitt has a diverse work experience in the field of energy efficiency, green building, and sustainability programs. Alicia currently works at Build It Green as the GreenPoint Rated Program Manager, where they oversee the third-party rating system for healthy, energy-, and resource-efficient homes. Prior to this, they were a Principal Consultant at Thrive Energy Solutions, conducting policy research and managing projects related to energy efficiency measures and clean energy retrofits. Alicia also worked as a GreenPoint Rater at Stok and as a Senior Desktop Review Associate at Build It Green, where they reviewed and verified applications for green home certifications and rebates programs. Alicia began their career at Build It Green as a Program Associate, focusing on the administration of energy-saving programs and relaunching the AC Quality Care Program. Before joining Build It Green, Alicia worked as a Project Program Coordinator at Champion Partners.

Alicia Livitt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Design - Housing and Urban Development at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2006. Alicia then pursued a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability at Blekinge Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alicia has obtained various certifications, including Greenpoint Rated Rater from Build It Green in February 2021, Multifamily Building Analyst from Building Performance Institute (BPI) in February 2013, GreenPoint Rated Advisor: Existing Home, Single Family from Build It Green in November 2012, Building Analyst from Building Performance Institute (BPI) in October 2012, Certified Green Building Professional from Build It Green in October 2012, and Sustainable Building Advisor from Sustainable Building Advisor Institute in August 2012.
