Christian Schläger

Christian Schläger is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Build38. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product Management Cyber Security at Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security from July 2017 to December 2018, and the Group Vice President from March 2017 to July 2017. From January 2015 to February 2017, they were the SVP Information Security Services at metafinanz Informationssysteme GmbH (Allianz Group). From November 2012 to October 2014, they were the Head of Strategic IT Projects, Vizedirektor (VD) at Swiss Life. Christian began their career as a Manager at Ernst & Young from April 2008 to November 2012. Christian started out as a Researcher at University of Regensburg from April 2004 to April 2008.

Dr. Christian Schläger has a Doctorate from the University of Regensburg and a certificate from the Universidad de Málaga. Christian also has various certifications in cyber security, TOGAF 9, privacy, and ITIL v3 Foundation.
