Marc Obrador Sureda

Marc Obrador Sureda has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. From 2010-2011, they worked in public attention roles at BBVA. In 2011, they were a teaching assistant for the Computer Architecture Department under the Enginycat program of Catalonia's Government and for the Telematics Engineering Department at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2012, they were an intern student at Hewlett-Packard. From 2013-2016, they were a Mobile App Security Specialist at Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security, where they led the development of software security products for mobile apps (Android and iOS), researched new and emerging technologies for securing Android devices with Secure Elements, and developed and maintained the SEEK for Android open source project. In 2018, they co-founded CEL Services, a company that offers amazing experiences to tourists visiting Mallorca. Marc is currently CTO and Co-founder of Build38 and Head of Product Architecture and Mobile App Security Expert.

Marc Obrador Sureda completed their Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN between 2007 and 2013. Marc then went on to complete their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution between 2013 and 2016. Additionally, they have obtained four Coursera verified certificates, including Cryptography (2015), Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems (2014), Algorithms I (2014), and Cryptography I (2013).
