Ram Sundar

Ram Sundar has been working in the field of Mechanical Engineering since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Baker Hughes, where they assisted the Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams in implementing the SFMS. In 2014, they worked as a Production Management Summer Intern at Baker Hughes. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Aries Marine and Engineering Services. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at the University of Southern California as a Graduate Student Researcher, Course Evaluator and Mechanical Design Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Mechanical Engineer at Cover Technologies Inc.

Ram Sundar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering with the Honors of First Class (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics) from Heriot-Watt University from 2012 to 2016. Ram then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Ram Sundar has obtained various certifications, including an Engineering Drawings for Manufacturing from LinkedIn in September 2021, a Solidworks Advanced Certification from Dassault Systèmes in February 2020, a Solidworks Professional from Dassault Systèmes in September 2019, a Solidworks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in April 2019, a GLS (General Lab Safety) from OSHA in May 2018, and an AutoCAD 2D Drafter from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. in May 2015.
