Builders Initiative
Haven Leeming serves as a Senior Program Officer at Builders Initiative since July 2018, contributing to the philanthropic efforts of Builders Vision aimed at fostering a humane and healthy planet through strategic philanthropy, investment, and advocacy. Previous experience includes an internship at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where Haven conducted research for the postsecondary digital learning funding portfolio, and a role as Strategic Consultant for the Financial Services Pipeline Initiative at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, focusing on racial equity in the financial services sector. Additional positions held include Education & Sustainability Program Support at The Chicago Community Trust, Grants & Expense Associate at IDP Foundation, Inc., and Grants & Budget Assistant at The Student PIRGs. Academic credentials include an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, along with a BA in English from Carleton College.
