Bob Drake

Bob Drake has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Bob is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Buildertrend, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cloudera as the SVP Finance from March 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Cloudera, Bob spent several years at Instructure, where they held the role of VP, Financial Planning & Analysis from August 2019 to March 2022. During their tenure at Instructure, they played a key role in leading financial due diligence, handling acquisitions and divestitures, as well as supporting the company's IPO.

Bob also has significant experience at Microsoft, where they held various senior finance director roles. Bob was responsible for managing global sales and marketing FP&A functions, as well as overseeing WW Operations FP&A and accounting. Additionally, they played a crucial role in managing finance for US Sales & Marketing and Worldwide Licensing & Pricing Controller.

In addition to their corporate experience, Bob has also gained executive education at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Prior to that, they held finance roles at PeopleSoft, Inc., LabVelocity, Inc., and worked as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Bob Drake has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University. Bob also holds a Private Pilot License and an Instrument Rated Pilot certification from Cornerstone Aviation Flight School in Salt Lake City, UT. In addition, they have completed an Executive Education program in Leadership and Strategic Impact (LSI) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth during the summer of 2010.
