Kirit Chandran's work experience includes holding various leadership roles in software development and engineering. Kirit began their career as a Student Manager of Student Technical Support at Abilene Christian University, where they were responsible for managing a team of over 35 student employees and providing data collation for technology support decisions. Kirit then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Creighton University, conducting research and analysis on IT-related issues and working on development projects. Chandran later joined Nebraska Book Company as a Graduate Intern, where they worked on technology product planning, marketing analysis, and project management. Kirit then worked as an Application Developer at iSECUREtrac before joining Schneider Electric as a Lead Developer, where they led a team and was responsible for solution architecture and application development. Chandran then moved on to DTN as a Software Development Team Leader/Manager, managing a team of skilled developers and facilitating the AGILE Scrum processes. Currently, they are working at Buildertrend as a Senior Director of Engineering - Development, leading development teams and being responsible for strategy creation and innovation in the Financial area of the platform.
Kirit Chandran completed a B.A in Computer Science, with a minor in Information Technology, from Abilene Christian University. Kirit attended from 1999 to 2004. Kirit then pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology Management at Creighton University from 2005 to 2007.
