Shannon Eckmann has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shannon began their career at Warner Pacific College, where they served as an Adjunct Faculty member and later as the Executive Director of Enrollment Management. During their time at the college, they achieved significant enrollment growth and created opportunities for underserved populations. Alongside their work at the college, Shannon also held the role of Associate Dean of Leadership Development.
In 2009, Shannon ventured into independent consulting, working with non-profit organizations and higher education institutions. As an Organizational Consultant, they provided growth and performance improvement recommendations, conducted analysis and audits, and offered executive coaching and board development consultations.
Additionally, Shannon served as a Board Member and later as the Board Chair for Bridge Meadows, an organization focused on addressing child welfare, aging, and affordable housing issues. Shannon was involved in providing stability and support to current and former foster youth.
Shannon's experience also includes their tenure at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, where they served as the Board Chair and a Trustee.
Currently, Shannon is employed at Building Champions, where they initially held the position of Director of Operations and progressed to become the Vice President of Coaching Services. In their role, they work closely with executives, providing coaching services, and addressing their initiatives, challenges, and opportunities. Shannon also serves as a keynote speaker and small business coach.

Shannon Eckmann holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from George Fox University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Advertising Management, from Portland State University. No specific time frames are provided for their education at either institution.
