Adela Bejo

Adela Bejo has extensive experience in both administrative and culinary roles, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at the Detroit Land Bank Authority since July 2017. Previously, Adela owned and operated Hip Hop Bake Shop from August 2017 to February 2023 and held positions as a Pastry Chef at Grey Ghost Detroit and Executive Pastry Chef at Ideology Entertainment. Adela's culinary journey began as a Pastry Cook at Table 52, while earlier experience includes administrative support at the Michigan Department of Human Services and child care work at the Department of Community Health/Hawthorn Center. Adela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Wayne State University and attended the University of Detroit Mercy.
