Colin Evin

Colin Evin is an experienced technician currently serving as Technician II at Building Enclosure Science LLC since July 2022. Previously, Colin worked as a Chemical Inventory Management Assistant at Environmental Health & Safety - UMass Amherst, where responsibilities included managing hazardous chemicals safely on campus. Colin has a diverse background, including roles as a Sortation Warehouse Associate at Amazon, where efficiency in a fast-paced environment was essential, and as Member Service staff at The Brown Billone Club, focusing on customer service and scheduling. Early experience includes serving as Head Lifeguard, obtaining certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and interning as an Environmental/Engineering Intern at Jacobs Driscoll Engineering, assisting with document control for permitting processes. Colin holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed in 2022, as well as a High School Diploma from Oliver Ames High School, obtained in 2018.

Building Enclosure Science (BES) is a building envelope/enclosure consultant, offering wide ranging services for new and existing construction. We focus exclusively on the the complex integration of exterior building materials and systems, including roofing, glazing, claddings, masonry, concrete and waterproofing details. Our services include building enclosure commissioning (BECx) for QA/QC in new construction, as well as extensive assessment and investigation for deficiencies (i.e. water intrusion) in existing buildings.
