Richard Yancey, FAIA, LEED AP is the Executive Director at Building Energy Exchange, where Richard serves as the founding executive director of New York's first energy efficiency resource center. Prior to this role, Richard held positions as an Associate at Beyer Blinder Belle, Principal at Weinstein AU Architects and Urban Designers, and Architect at Larry Rouch & Company. Richard holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics & Economics from Wesleyan University.

Building Energy Exchange
The Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex) is a center of excellence dedicated to reducing the effects of climate change by improving the built environment. BE-Ex accelerates the transition to healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient buildings by serving as a resource and trusted expert to the building industry. The Building Energy Exchange is a project of Green Light New York, Inc., a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
