Lisa Rainford

Lisa Rainford is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) since May 2021. In this role, Lisa is responsible for creating media content, managing social media platforms, and coordinating events and newsletters. Concurrently, Lisa also works as a Freelance Communications Coordinator for Revenge Pest Control, focusing on corporate communications strategies and media relations. Previously, Lisa held the position of Communications Assistant for the City of Toronto, providing communication support for the Ward 5 City Councillor and managing various public outreach efforts. With a foundational career in journalism, Lisa worked as a Reporter and Online Editor for Metroland Media Group, covering community news in Toronto, and has contributed freelance work for publications including the Toronto Star. Lisa earned a Journalism Diploma in Print & Broadcast from Humber College.
