Alyssa Kang

Alyssa Kang serves as the UpStreet Groups Director at Gwinnett Church under North Point Ministries, Inc. since October 2018. Additionally, Alyssa has been an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with Building Intimate Marriages since January 2015, providing clinical treatment and therapeutic counseling to individuals and couples facing a variety of issues, while also engaging in community development initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Korean Madisonville United Methodist Church and directing the Children's Ministry, where mentoring and counseling were key responsibilities. Additionally, Alyssa taught English at Maengbang Elementary School through the TaLK Program. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.
