Robert Thickett

Robert Thickett is an experienced digital policy manager and former editor with a strong background in journalism and stakeholder engagement. Currently employed at the Building Societies Association since July 2014, Robert advocates for member interests with government and industry groups, while also handling communications for trade and national media. Previous roles include freelance writing, serving as editor, deputy editor, and news editor at Mortgage Strategy, where responsibilities included managing editorial content and a reporting team.
