Maurits Lavèn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of building advisory and fire safety. Since January 2007, Maurits has served as Directeur/eigenaar at BuildingLabel, which facilitates a network of advisors for residential and utility construction, providing quality assurance, certification, and support services. Maurits has been actively involved in the Werkgroep EPA at FedEC since November 2013 and has held several key roles in expert committees related to energy labeling. Additionally, Maurits has been a volunteer firefighter with Brandweer Flevoland since June 2008, taking on leadership roles including Bevelvoerder and Ploegchef. As the owner of Primato BV since July 2001, Maurits specializes in the development of business software and customer portals. Maurits holds a degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2006, and a secondary education from Christelijk College Groevenbeek, finished in 1999.
