Marcel Steffen

Marcel Steffen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2000, they started with an internship at IBM Switzerland, where they later worked as a WorkStudent until 2005. Marcel then pursued an internship at Kuehne + Nagel in 2006. In 2007, Marcel joined ITMC Informatik Technologie Management Consulting AG as a IT Project Assistant before transitioning to the position of Consultant from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, Marcel worked at Schindler Digital Business Ltd, first as a Project Leader, then as Manager of the Project Portfolio, and ultimately as Finance Director. Marcel then joined Schindler Digital Group AG in 2018 as the VP of Finance & Controlling. In the same year, Marcel also became the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at BuildingMinds.

Marcel Steffen earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Zurich, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. During their time at the University of Zurich, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at the University of Aberdeen, where they focused on Computing Science from 2005 to 2006. In 2004, Marcel Steffen obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Bell International Cambridge UK.
