Olena Horyn

Olena Horyn has a diverse work experience that includes roles in data science, banking, and product ownership. Olena is currently working as a Product Owner at BuildingMinds since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Data Scientist at BuildingMinds starting in March 2021. Olena also has experience as a Data Science Master's Student at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from August 2019 to March 2022. Before transitioning to the field of data science, they worked in the banking sector, first as a Private Banking Relationship Manager / AVP at Boston Private from April 2018 to June 2019, and then as an Assistant Vice President / Assistant Manager at Boston Private from June 2015 to June 2019. Olena began their career as a Preferred Private Banker at First Republic Bank from December 2010 to June 2015, followed by a role as a Licensed Personal Banker at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from December 2007 to December 2010.

Olena Horyn holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Berlin (BHT), which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Finance, General at the Ternopil Academy of National Economy from 2002 to 2007. Furthermore, Olena has additional certifications, including Foundations of Project Management from Google, obtained in May 2021, SQL Fundamentals course from SoloLearn, obtained in January 2020, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in January 2023.
