Axel Schallies obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Bachelor Science from Colegio Humboldt in 1993. In 2005, Axel enrolled at Emerson College and earned a BD Organic Agriculture degree. Following this, they obtained an Intermational Business Principle certificate from the Anglo-World Institute in Bournemouth, England in 1994. In 2021, Axel began attending Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Data Analytics, which is expected to be completed in 2023.

Axel also received a certification in Python Programming: Beginner in 2019 from the same institution. Axel earned certifications in Operations Analytics, People Analytics, and Customer Analytics in 2018 from Coursera. In the same year, they obtained a certification in Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies from Coursera Course Certificates. In 2018, Axel also received a certification in SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis from LinkedIn and completed a course in A Crash Course in Data Science from Coursera. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained a certification in R Programming from Coursera.
