Drew McClendon

Drew McClendon is a social impact leader currently serving as the Executive Director for buildOn in the Boston region, where they oversee regional fundraising and programmatic excellence in service-learning initiatives. With a strong foundation in education and strategy, Drew previously held roles such as Director of Engagement at Teach For America and Senior Consultant at Elijah's Promise, where they drove organizational success through strategic initiatives and community partnerships. Drew is also an alum of Public Allies and has experience in policy development and program management, emphasizing collaboration, inclusiveness, and equity throughout their career. They are pursuing a Master's degree in Public Policy from Rutgers University while having earned a Bachelor's degree in Education and Teaching from the University of Delaware.
