Erika Robers is an experienced educator and program coordinator with a focus on community engagement and youth development. Since October 2008, Erika has served as the Program and Global Education Coordinator at buildOn, where responsibilities include organizing and mobilizing youth for volunteer service and activism, addressing social and environmental issues through community service. Prior to this role, Erika worked as an Afterschool Programs Coordinator, preparing youth for community service related to aging, the environment, hunger, and education, and facilitating participation in initiatives such as the Trek for Knowledge program. Erika's earlier experience includes teaching social studies at Curie Metro High School from August 2006 to August 2008, where curriculum development for World Studies and U.S. Studies was a key focus. Erika holds a Master of Arts in Education Policy from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Xavier University.
