Ivy (Yuxia) Sun

Ivy (Yuxia) Sun has extensive work experience in quality assurance and testing roles. Ivy (Yuxia) currently holds the position of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at BuildOps, where they are responsible for test planning, test execution, bug reporting, and test automation. Prior to this, Ivy worked at Toronto Star for eight years, where they served as the Mobile App QA lead for The Star, The Spec, and The Record apps. In this role, they collaborated with the team to create a seamless user experience, developed and executed manual and automated tests, managed end-to-end testing activities, and handled troubleshooting and issue escalation. Additionally, Ivy worked as a Quality Assurance Tester at Ganz Studios, where they verified requirements, designed test cases, executed tests, logged defects, and maintained test documentation. Overall, Ivy has a strong background in ensuring software quality and improving testing processes.

Ivy (Yuxia) Sun began their education in 1993 at Shantou University in Guang Dong, China. Ivy (Yuxia) obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business English in 1997. Later, in 2007, Ivy attended Centennial College where they studied Information Technology & Computers for a year.
