James Formica

James Formica is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at BuildPass since November 2021, James previously held positions at REA Group, where responsibilities included Lead Developer and Senior Frontend Developer. Additional experience includes software development at StarRez Systems and participation as a team member in the ANZ Hackathon. James began the career at Advance Vision Technology (Aust) Pty Ltd after earning a Bachelor of Software Engineering from RMIT University between 2011 and 2014, with earlier education from Parade College.
