Mark Burcher

Mark Burcher has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Mark is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Buildsafe, starting in January 2024. Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager at Wearthy from February 2022 to January 2024. Before that, they held multiple roles at Woollam, including General Manager - Finance & Commercial from September 2019 to February 2022, and General Manager - Woollam Services from March 2017 to September 2019. Mark also has experience in facilities management operations at City Holdings (Aus) Pty Ltd from July 2012 to February 2017, operations maintenance at Vale from January 2010 to June 2012, infrastructure maintenance at the Department of Transport and Main Roads from January 2009 to January 2010, and facilities maintenance at Advanced Building Services from January 2005 to January 2009.

Mark Burcher completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Southern Cross University from 2013 to 2016. Mark also obtained a Certificate IV in Training Assessment and Education from GCLC in 2014. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they earned a Certificate IV in Electrical Engineering - Electrician from the Electrical Training Company. In addition, Mark holds certifications such as Electrical Contractor - Queensland from the Department of Justice and Attorney-General QLD, Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas - Installation and Maintenance from Techserve, and Registered Telecommunications Cabler - Fibre, Structured & Co-Axial from JB Hunter Technology.
