Emily Hough, M.Ed

Emily Hough, M.Ed is currently the Education Project Manager at buildspace since October 2020. Prior to this role, Emily served as the Director of Curriculum, where Emily managed financial operations and implemented a data-driven approach to user research. With experience in developing and teaching curriculum in various educational settings, Emily has made significant impacts, such as improving reading proficiency among at-risk youth and increasing student participation in coding clubs. Emily's expertise in curriculum development and instruction best practices have been evident throughout their career, from teaching elementary students in the IB PYP program to coaching high school girls' soccer. Emily holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Developmental and Child Psychology and Education from Wheaton College Massachusetts.
