Karen Makedon

Karen Makedon has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing. Karen started their career as a Marketing Programs Manager at Quest Software in 2002. Karen then worked as a Senior Manager of Marketing at Platform Computing, where they were later promoted to the role of Vertical Marketing Manager. Karen joined Redline Communications in 2010 as the Director of Marketing Communications and played a crucial role in the company's acquisition by Aviat Networks in 2011. Karen then became the Senior Director of Marketing at NexJ Health Inc., a spin-off from NexJ Systems Inc. Karen subsequently worked as the Senior Director of Marketing at NexJ Systems, where they continued till 2017. During this period, NexJ Systems was acquired by Harris Computer Corp. In 2017, Karen provided marketing consultancy services for Gubagoo. Later, they joined InvestorCOM Inc. as its Vice President of Marketing and led the marketing strategy for the company's launch into the US market. Currently, Karen is the Vice President of Marketing at Constellation HomeBuilder Systems.

Karen Makedon holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from the University of Waterloo. Karen also completed the Marketing Management Executive Program at York University. Additionally, they earned an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Karen has several certifications, including Generative AI for Digital Marketers from LinkedIn, HubSpot Marketing Software from HubSpot, and Advanced Google Analytics from Google. Karen also completed Digital Marketing Foundations for Business Partners (Advanced) and Digital Marketing Foundations for Business Partners from IBM. In addition, they obtained a diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (D.E.L.E.), Básico and Superior from Universidad de Salamanca.
