Jennifer Gannon

Jennifer Gannon has worked for a variety of organizations, beginning in 2006 as a Dan Than Fellow for the National Alliance of Vietnamese American Service Agencies. In 2008, they worked as a Project Assistant in the Office of Family & Public Engagement for DC Public Schools. The following year, they became a Special Events Coordinator for the Department of Parks and Recreation. In 2010, they worked as a Communications Strategist for Diversity in Aquatics, Inc. and a Communications Specialist for the Executive Office of the Mayor. In 2011, they were the Grassroots Programs and Funding Manager for JUNIOR TENNIS CHAMPIONS CENTER. From 2012 - 2018, they worked as Chief Of Staff for AF Consulting. Finally, from 2018 - 2023, they worked as ITOps, Data & Delivery and InfoSec and Chief Of Staff for Capitol Canary, and is currently the Information & Operations for BuildWithin.

Jennifer Gannon obtained their Master's of Arts in American Studies and Asian American Studies from UMass Boston in 2007. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's of Arts in History from the University of Maryland in 2005. In April 2022, they obtained their CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
