Matt Sutherland

Matt Sutherland has been involved in a variety of work experiences since 2004. In 2004, they worked as a Home Builder/Sales Rep for CK Construction, where they prepared bids and sales for customers, managed bill collecting and customer relations, and had experience in all types of home construction. In 2009, they worked as an Ignition Team Manager for Grow Utah, where they managed a team of analysts in reviewing business plans and companies seeking an angel investment from Island Park Investments, and set up and managed meetings with each company to evaluate their business models. In 2011, they co-founded Driven Social, an internet marketing company, where they managed the marketing, closed sales with customers, maintained client relationships, and created strategy plans. That same year, they also co-founded BesideYouForever.com, an application that created custom wedding websites for engaged couples. Finally, in 2012, they co-founded HQ, a design and development agency, where they and their team designed and built applications for dozens of well-known companies and many successful startups.

Matt Sutherland attended Weber State University from 2005 to 2012, where they earned a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. In 2011, they also attended the Junto Opportunity Institute for Entrepreneurship.
