Ravi Budigelli

Ravi Budigelli has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Built In, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, Ravi worked as the VP of Engineering at Built In from July 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Built In, Ravi worked at Appian Corporation from May 2016 to July 2021, serving as the Director of Software Development. Previous to that, they were employed at CoStar Group as a Technical Manager from October 2013 to April 2016. In this role, they led two distributed teams and was responsible for various critical applications, including the main research application and core database. Ravi made significant productivity improvements and eliminated a substantial number of database calls.

From February 2009 to October 2013, Ravi worked at NGP VAN, Inc as the Director of Engineering, Fundraising. There, they designed and led the development of a multi-tenant Fundraising & Disclosure CRM Rich Internet Application from scratch.

Ravi also has experience as the Director of Software and Search Engineering at GoalFace, Inc. from 2008 to 2013, where they played a crucial role in developing an online platform for football fans. Additionally, they worked at Everest Business Solutions Inc as a Sr. Consultant from November 2007 to February 2009, and as a Consultant at Honeywell Process Solutions from November 2007 to August 2008.

Earlier in their career, Ravi served as a Technical Lead at Inphonic, Inc from April 2006 to November 2007, and as a Software Engineer at Brabeion Software from August 2005 to March 2006. Ravi also held the position of .Net Consultant at The Rock Creek Group from December 2004 to August 2005.

Ravi has amassed extensive experience in various roles, including leadership positions, software development, technical management, and consulting. Through their roles, they have gained expertise in areas such as application architecture, database management, and web development.

Ravi Budigelli holds a Digital MBA from CTO Academy, completed between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they earned a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University from 2000 to 2002. Ravi's bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics was obtained from Osmania University from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Ravi has various certifications, including Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP Specialization from Coursera and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services obtained in 2021. Ravi also has certifications in Data Science, Scrum Master, and Microsoft technologies.
