Robotics Hardware Engineer at Built Robotics

Anthony Guolla has had a varied career path, beginning with a role as Camp Program Head and Outdoor Instructor at YMCA Canada in 2014. In 2018, they became Self Employed as a Software Developer. In 2019, they joined Black & McDonald Limited as a Project Manager, where they operated on the service sales team for mechanical and electrical project opportunities including HVAC, refrigeration, manufacturing automation control systems, and industrial gas in commercial, retail, manufacturing, and institutional markets. Anthony estimated and contracted mechanical and electrical construction projects, including material/equipment purchasing and work scheduling. In 2020, they joined InDro Robotics as a Robotics Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Built Robotics as a Robotics Hardware Engineer.

Anthony Guolla has a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering and Robotics from Western University. Anthony has also obtained additional certifications, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air from Worksite Safety in April 2021, Algorithms, Part II and Algorithms, Part I from Princeton University in November 2020 and October 2020, respectively, CSWA-S - Simulation Associate from a SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre in April 2018, CSWA-A - Mechanical Design Associate from a SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre in March 2017, Pilot Certificate - Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual line-of-sight (VLOS) - Advanced Operations from Transport Canada - Transports Canada in May 2021, and Pilot Certificate - Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual line-of-sight (VLOS) - Basic Operations from Transport Canada - Transports Canada in May 2021.
