Alison Barnwell (née Parcell) has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alison began their career at Tower Health in 2006 as a Marketing Analyst, where they gained expertise in e-commerce, SEO, SEM, and email campaigns. In 2013, Alison joined Boom Online Marketing as an Online Marketing Manager, where they focused on account management and creating digital marketing strategies for clients of all sizes. Alison then moved to Staysure Limited in 2014 as the Head of Web and Content, overseeing website management and content creation. Currently, Alison is the Head of Sales and Marketing at Builtvisible, a position they have held since August 2020.

Alison Barnwell (née Parcell) has a diverse education history. Alison first attended the University of Nottingham from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Following this, in 2006, they enrolled at the Institute of Direct Marketing and completed a Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing, finishing in 2008. Wanting to further broaden their marketing knowledge, Alison pursued additional education and attended the Institute of Direct Marketing once again from 2008 to 2009, this time earning a Certificate in Digital Marketing. These educational experiences highlight their focus on psychology, as well as their dedication to honing their skills in direct and digital marketing.
