Chris Policastro

Chris Policastro, CPA has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career in 2006 as a Consumer Advisor at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where they provided customer service and handled insurance claims inquiries. Later on, they worked as a Police Officer at the City of Chattanooga from 2007 to 2010, and then as a Police Officer Senior at Gwinnett County Government from 2010 to 2013. After transitioning into accounting, Chris joined Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 2015 as a Senior Staff Accountant and worked there until 2018. Chris then joined BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as a Financial Analyst from 2018 to 2019. Chris returned to Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 2019 as a Supervisor and was promoted to a Manager role in 2020. Currently, they work at Builtwell Bank as the Director of Accounting starting from September 2023.

Chris Policastro, CPA, has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, obtained between the years 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they also hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), achieved from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies from Cleveland State Community College. Chris Policastro is also a Certified Public Accountant accredited by the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy.
