Arun Chaitanya

Arun Chaitanya Miriappalli is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at BukuWarung since July 2021. With over eight years of experience at Works Applications Co., Ltd., Arun held the role of Vice President, where responsibilities included the development of the database stack for SCM products and collaboration on code quality standards. Previously, Arun served as an Engineering Manager, focusing on the integration of Cassandra into complex ERP systems, and as a Software Engineer, contributing to e-commerce platform development. Arun's career began at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer and included a summer internship at IBM, where a module for IBM Case Manager was developed. Academic achievements include a B.Tech Honors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and leadership as Student Body President there.
